Back to School Bash!!!!
Changing Tree Wellness Center, LLC. had the opportunity to be present at two of our community’s back to school bash parties. The Okeechobee High School hosted its annual back to school bash were hundreds of families were given schools supplies and helped to get a jump start to the upcoming school year. Agency’s who took part in the event, were all local. School supplies such as markers, pencils, rulers, backpacks, and spiral notebooks were some of the items that were given to the attendees.
The Department of Juvenile and Justice was also gracious enough to make Changing Tree Wellness Center, LLC. be part of their back to school bash. The event was hosted at the DJJ office, located in Okeechobee. Here, all attendees were provided with various school supplies as well as food and beverages. The juveniles, along with parents, took part in talks that were provided by invited guest speakers.
Both community events had the ultimate goal of making sure that our young ones would be more than ready when time for classes. It was Changing Tree’s pleasure to have participated at both events and be part of them. We look forward to next year’s back to school events and wish our young ones best luck as the school year begins!!
